Jemme Scheltes Halsema (abt. 1670)

Jemme Scheltes Halsema was born in Kloosterburen abt 1670, daughter of Schelte Halsema and Trijntje Jansen. She married Freerk about 1692 and had 5 children that survived to adulthood. According to family tradition, Freerk and Jemme lived and farmed in Klein Halsum, until the building was destroyed by the Christmas flood of 1717.

Grietje Freerks was born in Kloosterburen and married Lubbert Freerks in 1727. They had five children.
Jan Freerks was born in Kloosterburen and married Trijntje Jans from Sauwer, Gr. They had six children.
Willem Freerks was born in Kloosterburen and married Trijntje Julles, the sister of Aagje Julles, the mother-in-law of his cousin Elisabeth Boelens.
